A South-East Clare Councillor is calling for an urgent review into the National Driving Licence Service (NDLS).
A number of issues surrounding the service were highlighted at this month’s meeting of Clare County Councillors, including difficulty accessing the Ennis office and poor customer engagement.

In addition to this a substantial number of Clare residents in towns and villages which border Limerick are being asked to attend the office in the city instead, despite some being closer to Ennis.
Independent Councillor from Clonlara, Michael Begley wants to see the service transferred back to the management of Clare County Council.
