A South East Clare climate activist is the only Irish recipient included in a global talent programme to support talented young people.
The Rise programme is a 1 billion dollar pledge from Google billionaires Eric and Wendy Schmidt to provide assistance to young minds as they work to serve others.
O Briens Bridge teenager Saoirse Exton will become part of the international network following her award.
