The Dublin solicitor has applied for an appeal of the trespass order granted against him.
Yesterday the High Court ruled that Mr O'Donnell and his wife Mary Patricia were trespassing at the Gorse Hill mansion in South Dublin – and ordered him to leave by 5 o'clock this evening.
Mr O'Donnell owes the Bank of Ireland over €70 million.
The Court of Appeal will begin hearing the application at 10 o'clock this morning.
