Just over €320,000 has been allocated to Clare County Council for upgrade works on social housing.

The money comes from the Government's jobs stimulus programme and will be used for energy retrofitting and to meet the needs of tenants with disabilities.
It comes as Clare Councillors back a motion calling for more funding to provide social housing here.
