Clare farmers are being called on to open up their farms to help at-risk groups who need support.
A scheme run by Social Farming Ireland sees the likes of those with mental health issues, disabled people and those in rehab come to farms and carry out work, as well as socialising with the farmer and each other.

The 10-week programme aims to help participants engage in society, as well as providing a link between the farm and the wider community.
