Met Eireann has issued a snow/ice weather warning for Clare, in anticipation of wintry conditions this Thursday.
The low-level Status yellow alert applies for the entire country.
Forecasters say this week’s cold snap could lead to a band of sleet and snow spreading northeastwards across the country.
