An Ennis-based retail lobby group is urging small business owners in this county to avail of local supports and make the move to online.
It comes as research from Retail Excellence has revealed that in the second quarter of this year, there was a jump of 30% in the number of mobile browsing sessions among online shoppers in Ireland.
Irish consumers spend around €850,000 per hour online while across the EU, shoppers are expected to exceed €602 billion this year alone.
