A new report has found a sluggish start for 2015 for Clare's construction industry.

Planning applications here in the first two months of the year have risen by 41%, a figure which is significantly higher than the national average of 9%.
However, the report from Link2Plans has found the number of projects here which have gotten underway has slumped by 85% when compared with the same period in 2014.
The fall-off is being blamed on a change in building regulations which came into effect on March 1st last year.
