There's a slight reduction in the number of people waiting on trolley's in the region's main hospital today.
28 people are waiting for a bed at University Hosptial Limerick, 14 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department and a further 14 in overflow areas of wards.
Two other hospitals; the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar and Beaumont Hospital are also experiencing high numbers with 28 people waiting on trolleys there.
While in Galway, 24 people are waiting for a bed.
