There’s been a 4% drop in the number of car sales in Clare in the first half of this year.
The latest figures from the Society Of Motor Industry shows just over 1,900 new cars have been sold between January and June, down from 1,985 in the same period last year.

The SIMI says the figures is at odd with with the growth in economic activity in the country, but says the volume of used car imports have impacted negatively on new car sales.
