The family of a young Clare man who suffered life altering injuries says the support they have received has offered them a ‘beam of light’.
Last week, Corofin native, Joe Slattery was training for his local GAA Club when he sustained injuries that will require lifelong care.

In just two days since a GoFundMe page was launched to raise money to aid in the delivery of care, over €430,000 has been donated.
Fundraiser organiser and family member, Clive Slattery, says the overwhelming public support has guided the family through this difficult time.
