Slattery Fears Funding For Clare Capital Projects At Risk

A Clare Fine Gael Councillor has criticised the Department of Public Expenditure over it’s handling of a review of the Capital Spending Plan.

The month-long process was announced with a press release on Friday, March 31st, and Councillor Bill Slattery says local authorities were not directly informed.

The deadline to make a submission is this Sunday, and the Lahinch Councillor fears that a chance to secure funding for capital projects in Clare could be lost.
