The principal of St. Finnachta’s National School in Sixmilebridge says he’s hoping plans to construct a new school building there will be progressed quickly.

A broad welcome has been given to news that the project is to be progressed through the architectural planning stage, which has come after the Sixmilebridge was granted status as a ‘rapidly developing school.’
While no date for construction is known at this stage, Principal of St. Finnachta’s National School Gareth Heagney is hopeful this will begin without further delay
