Sixmilebridge Councillor Calls For Galway Spray Paint Dog Poo Scheme To Be Brought To Clare

A Sixmilebridge Councillor is calling for spray painting warning and images around dog poo on pavements to be introduced in Clare.

It’s after Galway City Council piloted a similar scheme there, which saw its incidence of dog fouling fall by 55 percent.

Just seven fines have been issued to people in this county for not cleaning up after their pet between 2014 and 2020.
