Sixmilebridge Community In Shock Following Tragic Death Of Teen

The community of Sixmilebridge are said to be devastated following the tragic death of a 13-year-old schoolboy.

Conor Wilmot, was found lying in a field near his home in Oatfield, Sixmilebridge on Thursday night.

Newspaper reports had suggested that the teenager had been the victim of school bullies, but a senior Garda Source has told Clare FM that they have established no connection to bullying.

Gardaí are carrying out a technical examination of Conor’s phone and computer to establish the events leading up to his death.

Sixmilebridge Councillor PJ Ryan has known Conor’s family for some time and he’s been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that the entire community is in shock:
