A new community group is calling on the public to have their say in shaping the future of Sixmilebridge.
In 2021,the South-East Clare town became the first in the county to be awarded funding to produce a masterplan under the National Town Centre First initiative.

The plan aims to set a clear vision for the town’s socio-economic progression, by enhancing sustainable tourism, rural and digital innovation as well as youth amenities.
The Sixmilebridge Town Team has been set up to attract the necessary passion and expertise to bring the projects to fruition and Communications Officer, Mark Noonan believes the plan can transform the locality.
