Pope Francis called on every European parish and religious community to take in one refugee family each in a gesture of solidarity.
Two groups, the Parish Council and the Meaning of Life Group will meet on Wednesday to come up with ways to help families once they arrive here.
The issue was addressed at masses in Sixmilebridge yesterday and speaking on this programme, Parish Priest Fr Harry Bohan says efforts must be made to help refuges integrate into the community.
