Six Clare groups have been announced as the county winners of the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2022.
The chosen winners are the Kilrush Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann, the Willow Counselling Centre, the Clare Local Sports Partnership CLG, Cracking Light Productions, the Irish Red Cross Clare and the Labasheeda Projects Group.
The awards were created to honour and showcase the inspiring work being carried out by thousands of projects, clubs and individuals in their local communities across Ireland, with nearly 30 cent of every euro spent on National Lottery games going to good causes all over the country.
The 118 county finalists will now compete for a place in the National Finals judging phase next month, after which the 35 National Finalists will be announced.
