SIPTU workers at Irish Rail have voted in favour of cost-cutting measures at the company.

Members voted by 71 to 29 percent to accept the measures proposed by the Labour Relations Commission.
The dispute over temporary pay cuts and cost-saving measures led to a two day strike in August.
The National Bus and Rail Union will announce the result of their own ballot on the matter later today.
SIPTU says they now expect Iarnrod Eireann and the Government to live up to commitments they made in the mediation process.
