SIPTU is beginning a process of consulation with management at C and C, which yesterday announced job losses at a number of Irish and UK locations.

126 positions will go at a plant in Borrisoleigh, Co Tipperary while, additional jobs will be lost at the firms depots in Portlaoise and New Ross.
Wexford County Councillor Michael Sheehan, says the government should set up a task force to help the C and C workers who are losing their jobs.
