An opinion poll has suggested that Sinn Féin are surging in popularity in Clare.

The party has come out on top in a survey of just under 1,000 visitors to the Clare FM website.
31% of those who took part said they would vote Sinn Féin, if an election was held tomorrow, followed by 30% for Fianna Fáil.
Fine Gael were next on 21%, with Labour and Renua on 3% each and Independents or others on 13%.
