Sinn Féin's demanding an immediate statement from the Education Minister after it emerged some schools may close because of a lack of funding.

A briefing document prepared for new Minister Richard Bruton suggests that some schools won't be able to meet insurance costs, heating and electricity and other bills.
It's understood an immediate injection of 40 million euro would be needed to get school funding back to 2011 levels .
