Sinn Fein is criticising the Governor of the Central Bank for comments he made last night on the EU Fiscal Treaty.

Professor Patrick Honohan told delegates at the annual meeting of the Irish Economic Association, that Ireland should ratify this treaty – saying it would be a "safer alternative" for the country.
Sinn Fein’s spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Padraig MacLochlainn, is describing Mr. Honohan’s comments as "completely inappropriate."
