A garda investigation is underway after a significant of quantity of coal was stolen from a house in Ennis.
Some time between 6pm last Friday night, and 6am Saturday morning, thieves managed to get away with 500kg of the solid fuel from St Flannan’s Terrace.

Gardaí say those involved would have needed a car, van or trailer to load and remove this weight of coal.
They’re appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area, or who may have camera or dash cam footage to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
