Clare’s dole queues have fallen below the 10 thousand mark for the first time in almost two years.

A county breakdown of Live Register Figures out today reveal almost 800 less people signed on here during September bringing the total number to 9889.
The statistics show falls at all of Clare’s Social Welfare offices in Ennis, Ennistymon Kilrush and Tulla.
Year on year – the numbers are also down, with 150 fewer people seeking some form of jobs seekers benefit in September compared to the same month last year.
