There’s been a significant drop in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital.
The latest INMO figures show 13 people were left waiting for beds at Univeristy Hospital Limerick this morning, 3 of those in the Emergency Department.
The overall figure is ten fewer than the busiest hospital in the country and comes on a day when 103 patients were waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
