Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 12 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 6 of those in the emergency department.

Today, 224 people are waiting for beds at hospitals across the country, the worst affected is the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
