A shoe believed to belong to a missing Japanese tourist has been discovered on a beach in Co. Clare.

The discovery was made by workers from Clare County Council yesterday afternoon during a routine clean up of the beach at Kilkee.
Naval divers joined the search for 61-year-old Ushio Azaki who is one of two people reported missing in Kilkee last week after their hired car was discovered at Brynes Cove.
The body of a man believed to be that of the second person 63 year-old Eiji Takagi was recovered from the sea near Georges Head on Sunday but no formal identification has yet taken place.
Searches are due to resume again today.
