Farmers and rural pet owners are once again being urged to take control of their dogs following a vicious attack in East Clare.
It follows an incident in O’Callaghan’s Mills in which a number of sheep suffered serious injuries.

The dog responsible is yet to be identified and owners in the area are requested to be extra vigilant.
Clare County Dog Warden Frankie Coote says it was an extremely distressing incident.
