The Justice Minister has hit out at a number of members of the Public Accounts Committee over comments they’ve made about the Garda whistleblower controversy.

It follows Alan Shatter’s announcement yesterday that he was referring the penalty points allegations to the Garda Ombudsman.
Speaking this morning, Minister Shatter accused Independent Deputy Shane Ross of confusing his role of being a journalist and a politician.
