The Global CEO of Element Six says Shannon's reputation played a major role in the company's 7 million euro investment decision.
The industrial diamond manufacturer has revealed the investment along with the creation of 100 jobs, which will ultimately double the numbers employed there in 2009, when the company was on the brink of closure.
Walter Huhn believes measures taken during the global economic downturn have allowed the plant to survive and expand.
