Shannon’s Aer Lingus Service Set To Escape Impact Of US Flight Disruption

The Federal Aviation Administration in the States says they are working to restore its Notice to Air Missions System which has grounded hundreds of flights.

It says they are performing final validation checks and reloading the system.

Aer Lingus has told Clare FM while it’s monitoring the situation it doesn’t anticipate service disruption, with its Boston service due to operate as normal from Shannon this afternoon.

Airport and Security Auditor Kevin Byrne says the US disruption will be costly to the airline industry.
