An 11th hour deal has been reached to secures the future of Xtra Vision staff in Shannon who were facing the dole queues.
English based investment firm, Hilco Capital, which bought the rental chain Xtravision out of receivership, has opted to reverse plans to close it’s outlet at the Skycourt Shopping Centre, keeping it’s 10 workers in employment.

It follows talks with management at the Centre, as well as efforts undertaken by the Shannon Town Forum.
