Despite the mixed weather, the latest monthly summary from Met Éireann shows last month was the warmest June in ten years, but parts of the country experienced more rain than average.
Shannon Airport recorded the highest temperatures, averaging 15 degrees.
June 8th was the warmest day of the month in Clare, when temperatures reached 25 degrees at the Mid-West Airport.
