Shannon Airport’s traffic is already back to 83 percent of its pre-pandemic levels.
Figures released this week by the Central Statistics Office show nearly 135,000 passengers flew through the airport last month, compared to 160,000 back in May 2019.
That’s by far the highest number of people to have travelled through the airport since the onset of COVID-19 here back in March of 2020.
