Stakeholders across the Shannon region are being urged to put their weight behind a new master plan for Shannon Town and its environs.

Clare County Manager Tom Coughlin was speaking after the local authority officially unveiled the new blueprint for the county’ second town.
It focus on developing the 2000 acre landbank in the vicinity of the airport as well as creating a vibrant town centre, boosting local job creation and transforming the area into a viable visitor attraction.
