The Manager of Shannon Town Centre is hopeful that all remaining vacant commercial units will be occupied by the end of the year.
It comes following the announcement that Tesco is set to return to Shannon after 16 years, with the opening of a new store in the units formally occupied by Iceland and Dealz, once the latter moves to a different wing.
Kacper Zybert believes it’s good news not only for Shannon, but the whole county, with a significant number of jobs expected to be created as a result of the move.
He says business has picked up in the area in recent years and they hope to keep building on that over the coming months.
