Shannon Resident Hits Out At Government and Council For Turning Their Backs On Them

An apartment owner at a Shannon Development has hit out at the Government and the Council, for turning their backs on people living there.

Major fire safety defects were discovered at Bru na Sionna last year, with remedial costs in the region of between €6,000 and €12,000 expected for each of the 240 units.

But now these figures are to double, and it’s understood that owners who don’t pay up on time will be charged interest.
