Shannon Recruiter Doesn’t See Wage Inflation Slowing While Accommodation Crisis Persists

A Shannon-based recruitment expert doesn’t foresee wage inflation slowing down while the accommodation crisis persists.

It comes as the Morgan McKinley 2023 Irish Salary Guide suggests that employers will be more cautious around salary increases in Ireland this year with pay rises likely to be in the region of up to 5% across a range of sectors.

However the survey also finds that more than half of employers think they will lose staff in the first half of this year due to higher earning potential elsewhere.
