Shannon Pensioner In Constant Fear For Her Life After Waiting Over 50 Hours On Trolley At UHL

The daughter of a Shannon woman who spent 55 hours on a trolley at University Hospital Limerick says she was in constant fear for her mother’s life.

73 Year Old Grandmother , Mariea Marley attended University Hospital Limerick last Sunday to avail of the Dialysis services.

The June Bank Holiday weekend is traditionally the busiest at UHL’s emergency department with 90 patients on trolleys at Dooradoyle just two days afterwards.

Michelle Marley ,who accompanied her mother Mariea to UHL says it is an ordeal she will never recover from.
