Shannon Passenger Numbers Drop 80%

90 percent fewer air travel passengers are expected around the Christmas period in Ireland compared to last year.

Shannon Airport has already projected its drop in passenger numbers will be even higher, at 96%.

New CSO data shows just one fifth of the number of passengers who came through Shannon in the first ten months of 2019 did so this year.
