Shannon Airport’s passenger numbers are back up to 85 percent of pre-pandemic levels.
New figures from the Central Statistics Office show over 141,000 travellers made their way through the facility in September.

It’s nearly three times the number that passed through Shannon in the same month in 2021, and more than ten times 2020’s levels.
It means more than a million passengers have made their way through Shannon so far in 2022.
