Services at Shannon Airport have received a further boost this morning, with the resumption of Delta Airlines’ flights to JFK Airport in New York.

The American carrier will operate a daily service to New York, operating a Boeing 757-200 Aircraft with 170 seats on board.
48,000 people used the service last year, and it’s hoped the route will be a success once more in 2013, the first year of an independent Shannon.
