The Mayor of Shannon says she’s hopeful the opening of a new discount retail outlet in the town centre will lead to a spin-off for other local firms.
Dealz has today opened it’s 13th Irish store in the Skycourt Shopping centre, creating 30 jobs.

The town’s mayor Councillor Mary Brennan has expressed her hopes that the announcement will provide an avenue to employment for locals who are out of work, perhaps from other companies who she hopes will receive positive side-effects.
