The comments come on the back of the announcement that one hundred new jobs are to be created along with a seven million euro investment at the manufacturing plant in Clare.
Element Six, which has had a presence in Shannon since 1961, revealed the jobs boost and investment earlier today
David Hanley says that unique in-house training has allowed them to hire a wide variety of workers from the Mid-West region.
It's hoped that today's announcement will be the first of many this year in Clare.
