A Shannon man is set to embark on a 220km walk from Shannon Town to Croke Park tomorrow to raise money and awareness for autism.
Its Andy Moloney’s latest challenge, having previously cycled from Edinburgh to Shannon town and climbed the 3 biggest peaks in the UK in 24 hours.

He’s hoping to cover 55km a day for four days, stopping in Nenagh, Mountrath and Newbridge overnight, before arriving in Dublin the night before the final.
Although not having a ticket, Moloney says the most important things are raising funds for autism and the Banner coming home with the Liam McCarthy.
