A prominent Shannon supermarket has officially closed after workers discovered a typed notice outside the shop front.
The Iceland unit at the Sky Court shopping centre created 28 Jobs when opened in 2017, however with the company recently going into liquidation, all stores have been closed across the country.

Last night, former employees noticed a statement which read “Unfortunately Iceland Shannon has been closed and staff temporarily laid off ”
The Independent Workers Union has issued a statement claiming that workers had not been given any prior warning.
