Shannon Airport’s new route to Corfu has been described as ‘really welcome and positive news’ by the Shannon Group.
It comes after Ryanair announced they would begin operating a twice weekly flight from the region’s main airport to the Greek island from July.

It brings to 15 the number of routes the airline will beginning operating from Shannon Airport when its summer schedule begins in June.
In a statement, Shannon Group says it believes the route will prove to be ‘popular with Irish holidaymakers’ in the coming months.
