Shannon Group Chair Says Ireland To UK Travel Rules ‘A Significant Concern’ For Airport

The Chair of Shannon Group says current COVID travel rules between Ireland and the UK are a ‘significant concern’ for Shannon Airport.

It comes after the government advised that anyone arriving in Ireland from Britain should use antigen tests for five days.

Anyone travelling across the water must provide a negative PCR test two days before they do so, while returning to Ireland requires either a PCR test 72 hours ahead of travel or a negative antigen 48 hours beforehand.
