The Chair of Shannon Group is confident that traffic at Shannon Airport can still be restored to pre-pandemic levels within the coming three years, despite emerging concern over the latest covid variant.

Pádraig O’Ceidigh says that while there was worry within the industry initially about stricter rules on travel, the introduction of compulsary antigen or PCR testing is broadly welcomed by the aviation sector.
